Media unit of Badi-Ud-Din Mahmud Girls’ College is an active team where they take part in all the school events. They take in-charge of training students for announcing. They are given the opportunity to conduct main events at the school such as morning announcements, assembly, special functions. Mahmudians are also given the opportunity to announce at the functions organized by the Provincial Department of Education and Provincial Council – “National Unity and Reconciliation”.

Mass Communication as a subject introduced in year 2016 and the students of grades 10-13 are benefited. The magazine 'Panhinda',launched by the Media Unit, provides a great opportunity for students to show case their creative talents. The students participate in various competitions and field trips organized by the Media Unit.
