The Girl Guides Association of Badi ud din Mahmud Girls' College (39th Kandy) was re -established in the year 2015. Since then they are actively contributing in the school events. The guard of honour is given annually during the Sports meet ,Annual Awards Day and other special events held at school.

Our 1st batch of guides were enrolled in year 2017 which was led by Mrs. Nifra Naleem. Two of our guides are awaiting to face the Presidential Guides Award Challenge.

Our 2nd batch of Guides are led by Miss. Swarna Ranaweera, Mrs. U. Ranaraja and Miss. Ishani Abesinghe. The guides are about to face their 1st class challenge.

We have put on our foot to enrol two more batches of Guides. They are carried out by Miss. M.S.F.Fazliya, Miss.Lakshani P, Mrs.Z.F. Rizwana and Mrs. A.Batugoda.

Our 1st batch of Guides have participated in two National Services and in ‘Thinking Day Celebration’ held last year at Mahamaya Girls' College, Kandy. They have also completed two camping during their course.

We have 100 members in our family now. The Girl Guides Association of our school contributes a lot in developing the personality of our Mahmudians. According to the motto of the Association " *BE PREPARED* "; A guide of our alma mater is always trained to face any challenges or hard situations with great confidence.
