The Foreign Languages Association was established in the year 2013, but we introduced Hindi Language in 2005 and French and Arabic followed fourteen years ago.Japanese was introduced in the year 2019.We produced commendable results at the G.C.E. O/L and A/L.
We celebrate the Foreign Languages day yearly, ‘Languages Unite People’. The students are given the opportunity to take part in competitions Inter and Intra- School competitions and also at the International arena. Students are encouraged to sit the Indian Government Hindi exams through the Asst. High Commission of India, Kandy. Students also sit the DELF French exams, which is conducted by the Alliance Francaise, Cultural Institute.
Languages go beyond horizons and pave the way for cultural understanding, unity and harmony among people. Cultural diversity has increased and learning a Foreign Language will enable to connect people with better understanding and positive interactions. Our College aims to produce multi-lingual women and caters students’ interest.
