The English Literary Association of Badi-ud-din Mahmud Girls’ College, Kandy conducts English Day Competitions celebrates the Day yearly, opening the doors to give opportunities to improve skills and show case the talents of students. We traine students for Zonal, Provincial, National and Inter-national level competitions and they have been outstanding in many categories bringing honour to the College.

The English Literary Association is proud that we became the Champion of MasterSpeller 2018 and the Runner up by competing with 7500 students, island wide. We also became the ‘MasterSpeller 2019’ Champion for the second consecutive year, competing with 14,500 students from various government and international schools around Sri Lanka.
